NCL MOVES NORWEGIAN SUN TO HOUSTON BECAUSE OF INDEFINITE CLOSURE OF
THE PORT OF NEW ORLEANS

Ship to reposition to Miami in January for two new eastern and western
caribbean itineraries until april 2006

MIAMI, September 6, 2005 - Norwegian Cruise Line (“NCL”) announced
today that Norwegian Sun will move to Houston beginning October 16 to
operate its exotic Western Caribbean cruises through the January 8,
2006 cruise. The ship will then reposition to Miami to sail one
four-day cruise to the Bahamas on January 17, 2006, and sail a series
of alternating seven-day Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries
beginning January 21, 2006 through April 16, 2006.

NCL has made this decision as a result of the indefinite closure of
the Port of New
Orleans because of Hurricane Katrina. “It is with deep regret that we
have to make this change,” said Colin Veitch, NCL’s president and CEO.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of this catastrophic
hurricane.”

NCL is working closely with the American Red Cross to assist in the
recovery and restoration process. The company is making a corporate
donation as well as conducting a
fundraising drive for its employees and crew, and a passenger
fundraising drive onboard its ships. All money raised will go directly
to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. In addition, NCL has
established a link from its website to www.redcross.org to assist in
the giving process.
