Cathy L You cretin, why would they bother when, as I previously stated, it was never NEEDED? Most of Europe (and particularly England) has much cooler summers than the U.S. - if the daily temperature ever rises above 90F, it makes headlines. Windows are generally made to open, and as Martin says, fans have been around for a long time! (Europeans tend to be less into "conspicuous consumption" and "planned obsolescence" than USAians.) |

Calling "Cathy" a cretin has to be a compliment. She sounds like a patriotic legume. ======== It sounds much better in French, but then, everything does. --- news://freenews.netfront.net/ - complaints: --- |

Barbeques on fire by the chalets past the castle headland I watched the gift shops glitter in the darkness off the Newborough gate All these moments will be lost in time, like icecream on the beach Time for tea. |
