5 Best (the least American cities):

Miami
San Diego
NYC
San Francisco
Boston

5 Worst (typical American cities):

Houston
Dallas
Pittsburgh
Detroit
Cleveland

Most Overrated (these cities are not necessarily bad, just plain overrated

New Orleans
Austin
Los Angeles
Chicago
Las Vegas

Do Americans agree?

I'm not American (but live in America) and you couldn't pay me to live
in Miami,

I am not American, and I consider it by far the best city in the country as
do Italians, French and South Americans.

most Americans feel the same way and that's why there are
few of them actually live there.

That's a good thing.

San Diego is great, wonderful climate,

Except the water is freezing ass cold and the beaches don't compare to
Miami. Miami is much nicer and more sophisticated. You can go eat authentic
ethnic food at 3 am in Miami like only in NYC. In San Diego clubs close at
1.30 am.

love NYC if it wasn't for their
nasty winters. San Francisco is one of my favourite places (specially
to eat)

SF is overrated. I live there before you ask.

Boston is a cesspit.

Most intellectual city.

My vote would go for San Diego as the best and then any of the
Carolina coastal towns where you get all the seasons but nothing too
severe as far as weather.

Are you a redneck?

Miami would be nicer if the weather was a bit cooler.

WHAT?!?!??! Are you crazy? Miami is awsome especially cause it's never
cold! 72 is the low in the winter.

Yes and 90 with 90% humidity and daily downpours in the summer.

The summer showers last no more than 30 mins in the late afternoon
tipically. I personally love the sun and the warm weather and so do
Europeans since they actually have a life (vacations) besides working.

He could always try Tampa it's a bit cooler in the summer and warmer in
the winter than Miami/

Lived in Tampa for two years, Austin four years, and now since 6 months ago
in SF. Never lived in Miami but visited tons of times. Easily best city in
the country with NYC.

I like italians and have spent much time in italy. Their women look
so fantastic when young, but I also noticed all those old hags in black
dresses. How did that happen?!!?
Their italian food doesn't taste as good as the american version of
each type. Too much olive oil puddled on everything.

BWAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

BWAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

BWAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

BWAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

BWAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

Bottom line: being liked by the french is an insult and hated by them a
compliment.

I lived in NYC for 25 years and now live in San Diego. I loved living
in New York but as I grew older the hot, humid summers and cold
winters got me down. San Diego has a climate where one can be
out and active all year round and it is nice living in one of the
beach communities. Much of inland San Diego is typical of other
American cities -- strip malls, shopping malls. The food does not
measure up to New York, and nor does the diversity of the people.
Overall, it is a very pleasant place to live.

Interestingly today New York is warmer than San Diego at 71F
while San Diego temps peaked at 62F.

If all you know about Philly is cheesesteaks then you don't anything

Honolulu should be on this list. That's easily my favorite US city.

San Diego's great. Love the weather. And San Francisco - awesome.

5 Worst (typical American cities):

Houston
Dallas
Pittsburgh
Detroit
Cleveland

I'd say these are not the best places for vacationing. Especially
Detroit.

Most Overrated (these cities are not necessarily bad, just plain overrated

New Orleans
Austin
Los Angeles
Chicago
Las Vegas

These last 5 are just wrong. LA has a lot to do. It's really very
large, there's something for everyone.

And Las Vegas, well, it's for gambling and whatever other vices you
have. What's not to like? I don't think I'd go there for
intellectual stimulation or great architecture, but it's sure got
everthing else for entertaining a person.

Chicago's nice. A mini NYC.

Do Americans agree?

Looking at how popular fashion designers from Italy and France are around
the World (US included), I would say so.
