Morocco Sept. 27 - Charged for bank machine withdrawal that didn't go through

Hi,

On September 27 in Rabat, the bank machine communication lines must
not have been working properly, as it was not possible to withdraw
money that day from the several bank machines we tried, using cards
from various different banks and countries. However, I have had 4 of
these attempted transactions appear on 2 of my Canadian bank accounts.

Anyone else run into this problem?

I had this happen once in Tanger (tried the ATM twice; the first time it
failed and the second time it worked). When I got back and saw two
transactions on my statement, I called the bank and they immediately
credited one of them.
