Default traveling to Amsterdam for New years for the 2nd time.

A group of us are going to Amsterdam for New Years Eve. Last year we
relaxed at a coffeeshop untill 11 or so, and then headed to Dam Square.
After the eruption of fireworks and champagne, we went to The Doors
coffeeshop. I would like to find a more energetic party to begin the
new year. Anyone know about that area at this time of year?

If you go to Rembrandtplein instead for fireworks and champagne, it is
surrounded by bars which will mostly be having quite energetic parties.

There aren't hundreds of Dutch beers, but otherwise I agree.

There most certainly are! Go there and speak to the barman.

There might be hundreds of _names_ for Dutch beer.
