Day 1 ARRIVAL


Welcome and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Tour
highlights include Karaweik Royal Barge, a royal barge on the Royal Lake;
the Chaukhtatkyi Reclining Buddha Image; the Sule Pagoda to see the bustling
cityfolk in the heart of the city and former Scott's Market for souvenirs.
Enjoy the sunset at the Shwedagon Pagoda, the most revered and the world
famous massive pagoda. Then enjoy Thai buffet dinner and the culture show at
Kandawgyi Palace. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 YANGON-BAGO-YANGON BY CAR

After breakfast excursion to Bago, the ancient Mon Capital, 80 Kilometres
northeast of Yangon. Tour highlights include Bago Traditional Market; the
Shwemawdaw Pagoda; the Mahazedi Pagoda with its impressive bell-shaped
stupa, and the Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha Image. Enjoy lunch at a local
restaurant. After lunch excursion to Kanbawza Thardi Golden Palace, a
replica of the Golden Palace built by King Bayintnaung, and the Kalyani
Sima, sacred hall of ordination. Then return to Yangon. En route visit a
pottery workshop and World War II Allied War Cemetery, near Htaukkyant.
Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 DEPARTURE


After breakfast tour highlights are the World Peace Pagoda; Mahapasana Cave
and the Swedaw (the Buddha's tooth relic) Pagoda, a brand new temple in
imitation of Bagan architectural style. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch visit former Scott's Market for souvenirs. Check-out and
transfer to the airport for departure flight.
