standard of living, and they aren't going to work themselves to death to
ensure an
obscene and disgustingly wealthy lifestyle for the corporate owners and
executives

$$$ making, evil and decadent
machine which uses people up and then discards them like so much refuse


they are not willing to go and die or be horribly maimed in order for the
rich and powerful
to gain more power and influence, not to mention $$$

they believe that sacrifice should be universal and equal, that all humans
are created equal and have a right
to life, liberty, and the same happiness everyone else has

they refuse to be exploited, manipulated, used and especially ignored

they are not going to sit outside the hospital with their sick children,
with their hats in their hands begging for charity
while the rich walk by them with their noses in the air


they are not going to allow the bankers,brokers,insurance companies, or the
wealthy and powerful to
take their life's work and their life savings

the French have a history of setting the ruling classes straight

unlike you hillbillies who always took your ass whippings and sacrificed
your children and grandchildren to appease
your wealthy masters

we need to follow their example

This can only happen so many times before private enterprise realises it's
working itself in to an unwinnable corner. I think we could all benefit from
showing a bit more of the French attitude. I think the Brits have become far
too comfortable with having shovels slapped in their faces every so often.
For all our competitive determination to race each other to the bottom of
the barrel, I don't see we've greatly benefitted in comparison to France. In
fact I'd say their general standard of living is considerably better
