Default MARITIME MAGIC on the Travel Channel

Set to debut Friday, Sept 19, 2003, on The Travel Channel, MARITIME MAGIC is
a brand-new one hour "behind-the-scenes" look at cruise travel. The program
highlights all the details, people, and hardware that goes into making
cruising so appealing.

Filmed on board five unique cruise ships, MARITIME MAGIC features: the stern
paddlewheeler "Queen of the West" as it cruises along the Lewis and Clark
expedition route of the Columbia and Snake Rivers; the unequaled luxury of
Silversea Cruises' "Silver Whisper"; Star Clippers' 5-masted sailing vessel
"Royal Clipper" departing from Cannes in the Mediterranean; Royal Olympic
Cruises' "Olympia Explorer" from Venice to Istanbul; and the German club
ship "AIDAvita" in the Baltic Sea.

For show times, visit The Travel Channel online at
http://travel.discovery.com/ and click "Travel Channel TV."

I was on board Silver Whisper during the filming of MARITIME MAGIC last year
and I'm really looking forward to seeing the show as it was made by the same
filmmakers who produced CITIES ON THE SEA, which dealt with the largest
cruise ships afloat.

Enjoy!

Thanks Linda!
I love the choice of ships. Finally something off the beaten path! All the
ships mentioned certainly are unique and interesting.

Best,
Ernie

Ernie's right. Finally, something besides Carnival et al being
featured on a TV program about travel and cruises. I'll be watching
for sure. Thanks for that heads-up :-)

Linda, will you be in any of the scenes onboard Silver Whisper?

Now, I just hope the hurricane doesn't come on Friday and knock out
our power!
