Default SF - Yosemite one-day trip

Hi,

I'm going to San Francisco next week, and I'd like to join a one-day tour
to Yosemite. So my question is; which tour company do I choose?

So far I have looked at www.alltourdiscounts.com and www.extranomical.com

Does anyone been on any of these tours? Can you recommend them?

Regards,
Tom

I havent been on either but looking at the tour descriptions
the first gives you more time in the valley while the second visits
the giant Sequioias at Mariposa.

If the tour is San Francisco-San Francisco, take the one that gets to
Yosemite before 8 and leaves after 6. If neither, don't!

If there's any way to get you to consider renting a car and driving
there yourself, that would be a better option than either tour. That
way you can see the things you want to see and will be able to visit
Glacier Point as well as the valley. It's about a 3 1/2 hour drive to
the valley if you leave early enough.

If you leave SF at 5:00 am, you can have a wonderfully full day and
see a lot of Yosemite. I've done several one day trips with people
that way and they seem to like the tour.

If that isn't an option, I'd take the alltourdiscounts.com bus trip as
it gives you more time in the valley.
