mosquitos in florida
"john west++++" wrote in message ... hi, am quite allergic to mosquito bites, but need to spend extended periods of time in florida. are there a few areas relatively free of mosquitos please? thanks john west Depends on the season - mosquitoes are mostly in the wet season, which is spring & summer. There are over 60 species down here by the Everglades....salt water, freshwater, short grass, tall grass, daytime, nighttime, eveningtime, all day....... Your best bet is to stay away from wooded areas, in open sunshine, preferably with some wind, during the winter. Chris |
