Thanks Manish There are many family oriented resorts in Cancun and Yucatan. Cancun is very much like Miami Beach, very party-party. You might want to investigate places further south along the Mayan Riviera (Cancun to Tulum). Some all inclusive resorts even provide daycare so you can have some "just the two of us" time during your vacation. The sun is much stronger in the coastal parts of Mexico than what you've been used to at home. Make sure that the little one wears sunblock of adequite SPF 35 - 50 and don't let him/her over do it at the beach. If All Inclusive resorts are not your thing, there are many small hotels in towns like Playa del Carmen or Akumal that are affordable and on the beach or only a few blocks away. You might also look into Isla Mujeres just north of Cancun. You take a ferry to get there. It's more popular with Europeans and hasn't acquired the Disney Theme Park appearence as has Cancun. The Best Day Hotels, El Gran Caribe in Cancun, and El Gran Porto Real in Playa del Carmen are family friendly and can be booked as All Inclusive or European Plan. http://www.realresorts.com.mx/ -- ________ To email me, Edit "xt" from my email address.
