Default Is it safe to fly Delta

Hello,

With all the talk about Delta being in bankruptcy, is it ok to fly
Delta towards the New Year, internationally? I know there is an issue
of some ruling being delivered on the 28th, possibly causing a strike.
However, someone mentioned that maybe the ruling will be delayed past
the New Year - how likely is that? There was a rumor that they do not
serve food anymore on international flights - is that true? Are there
any cutbacks that you know of that have been made in response to the
sad state of financial matters that I, as consumer, should worry about?

THANKS!

And the implementation of schedule cuts announced three months ago is
supposed to be big news?

I just went to
http://www.delta.com/traveling_check...food/index.jsp
and it says that they will give you a 'snack' + 1 selection from the
'snack basket' on any flight over 3.5 hours for anything less than
first class. Flights of 5 hours or longer will get you a meal.
