Default To Alaska from Europe

Hello,

Does anybody know any sites where I can book a flight ticket from Europe
(Germany) to Alaska over the North Pole (without flying over a south USA
territory)? I would like to go for holidays to Alaska and I'm looking for
any airline which has in its offer such direct connections Eu-AK.

Thank you in advance for any help.
Regards,
Boa.

You don't say where in Alaska and when you want to go, but LH has charters
into Whitehorse, YK during the summer and there are all sorts of
possibilities from there.

Condor goes in the summer over the pole. Another option if you want to
avoid the US is to fly Air Canada

Condor flies over the pole during the summer, Frankfurt to
Whitehorse, Fairbanks, and Anchorage.

http://www.condoramericas.com/contactus.html for the North
America web page, mostly "under construction". You should
probably contact the nearest Condor or Lufthansa office.

The Deutsche page at http://www1.thomascook.de/tc/flugsuche.jsp
seems much more complete but it was erratic tonight.

Just checking the BA web site, I find it's cheapest for me in
Juneau to fly JNU-SEA and then SEA-LHR. There's competition on
the SEA-ANC route and none from JNU to SEA --- AS has a monopoly
here in Rain Country(tm).
