Default which deck level?

getting ready to book a Caribbean cruise in August on Carnival. want
adjoining rooms with a door between them. only rooms like that are on the
bottom of the boat. never been that far "below deck." is it a big deal or
we really won't notice?

thanks.

The truth is that the ride is actually better low and that low in the case
of passenger decks is still one or two above the water line.

Going to the Caribbean in the middle of hurricane season - it probably won't
make a difference. LOL

You would be surprised at how much better the lower decks are in a
storm. That said the ships will sail away from the brunt of the storm.
I still recall a night when we were entertained in an owner's suite up
high on the ship and were tossed around like rag dolls. Down on the
lower deck where our room was, we were able to naavigate without
hitting walls.

Lots of Carnival ships, which one.

Also, remember, any two cabins next to each other are adjoining, you
want connecting.

Rivera deck is usually deck 3 or 4, so it's not as if you're on the
waterline.

Approximately 75,000 years ago, the supervolcano Toba
erupted, In 24 hours, it ejected enough material to fill
the area inside the DC Beltway over a kilometer deep.
Good idea, bad timing,

You said you wanted a door between them. The terminology can be
important if that is what you want.

One time we were with my mother and she wanted her room to be near
ours. I asked for adjacent rooms. Her room was in a completely
different building that was sort of near ours.
