Default Three Hundred Zeroes: New Book about hiking the Appalachian Trail:

I love to go out onto the Appalachian Trail and hike for long periods.
I set out in 2007, when I turned 60 to celebrate that glorious event
by doing a thru-hike of the A.T. It ended up taking two years due to
the unforeseen. I’ve recently released a book about my entire hike of
the A.T.
This book offers an in-depth view of what it is like to travel this
world class jewel of a trail through fourteen states.

The title is THREE HUNDRED ZEROES. It’s a 328-page book, with 39
photographs, that tells a humorous adventure story that captures what
it is like to hike that trail for six months with a hammock and a ham
radio. In the middle of it all, I had to take three hundred "Zero
Days" for a six-artery heart bypass operation. The book is a fun read
and at the same time is an informative take on how to prepare for such
an adventure.

For more information about the book, check out the website:
threehundredzeroes.com or my blog at blog.threehundredzeroes.com/ .
Please do visit the sites; I’d love to have you leave a comment on the
blog.

The book can be ordered directly at this secure publishers website:
https://www.createspace.com/3428889

If you prefer to use an Amazon.com account, it can be ordered there as
well, just search Three Hundred Zeroes.

If you do read the book, I would love to hear your comments. I really
do want to know if you enjoyed the book or found it useful. You might
consider sharing your thoughts with other readers on the blog. Also,
having lived near the trail in New England most of my life, I can
answer question about that region if you need help there, or for that
matter, anything in general about long distance hiking.

Are you aware of the new meaning of "hiking the Appalachian
Trail"?
