What other attractions are there in Balboa Park? Jay To contact me directly, send EMAIL to (single letters all) DEE_KAY_EMM AT EarthLink.net. [For example .] |

San Diego - 4 or 5 days ?
Jay:
Another place to see is the Mormon Temple Gardens which is open to the public off of Interstate 5 at Nobel Dr. The temple is a big white church that looks like the fairy castle at Disneyland. BBOOTH |

Poke around Scripps Ocean Institute at LaJolla. I have to say that I went to the Birch Aquarium at Scripps while I was in La Jolla in February, and I was disappointed. I've been to other aquariums like Monterey Bay Aquarium and Steinhart Aquarium (San Francisco), and by comparison, Birch was much smaller and not that impressive. If you've been to other good aquariums, you might want to skip Birch. Mary |
