any recommendation for accommodation in or around malaga
hi
can anyone recommend a 'good' place for a family with one 6 year old, in or around malaga - early october not too touristy, not too quiet, self catered or hotel, not too far from airport (1hr) doesn't have to be close to the beach |

Hi
I can highly recommend a place near Fuengirolla called Los Boliches. I have been there 5 times for a week over the years and I am never disappointed. The little resort is a good mix of local people as well as tourists which is nice. Its busy enough but not full of nutters. Its also a great base to do a little exploring. Nearby you have Mijas a fabulous hill side resort, full of cobbled streets and charm. Gibralter is a day trip but quite interesting. Marbella, Benelmadina are also nearby. A train runs to Los Boliches from Malaga, so a day trip there is also a possiblity. Honestly I think you would all enjoy it. Good luck and happy holiday. |
