need a bit more info... what kinds of things do you like to do and any significant
budget constraints??

Without knowing more, my first thought would be Club Med, Turks & Cacios...

Hi,

well I've done jamaica twice as a couple... Couples Negril and a
Villa in Duncan... loved both.

like to sail and relax on the beach with a good book and a cool
tropical drink.

no serious budget constraints but want good value but not necessarily
rock bottom price as the top priority.

considering renting a -small- villa in duncan (with staff) at Silver
Sands... not an AI per say since you buy the food/supplies and the
staff is "tipped"... it'd be relaxing but almost too relaxing...

the other end might be something in Negril... lots going on... great
beach... but most are very couples (or family) oriented.

Based on that, I'd reinforce my recommendation for Club Med Turkoise (Turks and
Cacios). (T & C is technically not in the Caribbean, but most people consider as a
Caribbean resort.)
If you enjoy sailing (or perhaps windsurfing), they have Hobie's and windsurf
equipment and the beach (Grace Bay) is to die for. Food is good and there will be a
lot of other singles in the 20 - 40 age range. You might want to check a couple of
my trip reports, with pictures, at www.hammocktree.org/ms/trips.html
They have good tennis facilities, very good snorkeling and excellent SCUBA, if you
are a diver. And, for the young/young at heart, lots of late night activities.

It's time you explored outside Jamaica... there are a lot of other (and I think
better) islands to visit.

Mike
