Kuwait Airlines and Air India on LHR-JFK

Has anyone ever flown Kuwait Airlines or Air India, if so what is
there level of service?
I was looking through schedules for London - New York and these
services cropped up.

Two college age relatives just flew by Air India from LHR to JFK
and return (Air India offered the lowest price). They are actually
in the air returning as I write this.
While I didn't quiz them about specifics (seat pitch, in-flight
entertainment etc.), they did say the westbound flight was on time
and made no complaints about the service. They had flown within Europe
before so had some previous flying experiences.
