El Dorado Royale spa & resort

We are going to this resort in May, can anyone tell us what the resort is
like? Has anyone stayed there?

Yes,My husband and I stayed there last July and it had to be THE worst
resort we ever stayed in. They say it is a five star but it really is a
three if that.The staff is always pestering you for tips,the beach is
very rocky and rough,the rooms are not kept up maintenance wise. It was
the first vacation we couldn't wait to get home from! And the whole
resort smelled of sewer.

Oops...that doesn't sound too good. We've allready booked..... It's my
understanding that there are two El Dorado hotels:
