Taxis are fairly easy to get, the trouble is,if there is traffic congestion you can run up a big meter fare, whereas the uas fare is fixed regardless of how much time it takes to get to Paris. |

Even with lines, it normally moves fairly quickly, since taxis are plentiful at the airports. What is the current fare CDG -Invalides? At least €60, depending on traffic. -- Transpose mxsmanic and gmail to reach me by e-mail. |

There are usually lines for official taxis outside the terminal. In addition you may be approached by an "unofficial" taxi driver inside the terminal. I took one once and after a while it became clear that he didn't have the remotest clue where he was going, so after that I stuck to the official taxis. B; |

B; I once had an interesting ride, a dogleg that took us from the centre to somewhere in the south of Paris, and from there to where we wanted to go out in the West. I figured that the taxi driver drove home first, because he didn't know to get where we were going directly. T. -- In memorium Layal Najib www.cpj.org |
