Royal Caribbean returns to New Orleans
Looks like Royal Caribbean will put the Voyager of the Seas in New
Orleans for the winter season in 2011. The Mariner of the Seas will replace the Voyager in Galveston for the 2011 winter season. Oh man... I have been waiting for this ever since Katrina. Harrah's already loves me. We are going on the Triumph out of New Orleans in a few weeks and we are staying one night prior to the cruise at the Doubletree compliments of Harrah's. We did our first group cruise from New Orleans in January of 2001. Here is the logo that was created by Peter Bugda for that cruise: http://www.cruisemaster.com/insplogo.jpg I sure miss Peter... he was one of a kind. Cruising out of New Orleans hasn't been the same since Katrina, but now Royal Caribbean joins Carnival and NCL... and the competition should be good for the consumer. -- George Leppla Countryside Travel http://www.CruiseMaster.com Blog http://cruisemaster.typepad.com/my_weblog/ Facebook http://www.facebook.com/CruiseMaster |
