I agree we hired a minibus for about 3.000 rupees a day with english speaking driver He was crazy too. but drove us all the way safely and we both were happy.

Selfdrive in Sri Lanka
Roads are narrow and heavily trafficed. Police are corrupt and capricious.
You can get an a/c car and driver (inclusive of the drivers food and accommodation; fuel and insurance) for $35 to $45 per day. Beats self drive. "Luc CHRISTIAENS" wrote in message ...
