The fares you advertised are running about 300 more expensive per
person than can be booked elsewhere for every category.

Warren, where are you finding these fares?
Since we booked a balcony cabin, and no balconies are now available, I can't
find any comparison fares.

Why would you bring this up?

Tom,

Why? Because the newsgroup is for sharing information and a $600
overcharge per cabin is nothing to sneeze at. Ermalee advertised fares
being offered by a TA. I posted information that could potentially save
people a lot of money. Why is that a bad thing?

I pointed out a few months ago that the fares looked too high and they
still are. It would be more productive to take issue with the TA rather
than getting upset with the messenger.

I wasn't posting about categories that are sold out. I was posting
about the categories in Ermalee's post. As for where I found them,
we've been through this already a while ago when I wasn't the only
person to point out that fares for the sailing were lower from several
different sources.

I rechecked the fares online this afternoon, which prompted my post.

Hi Erm,

Barb just looked up our (category K) cabin on Crucon's site and came up with
a price of $1276.60 pp including everything. That's a total of $2553.20.
We were charged $3007.86 by Peter. Of course, he is giving us a $125 in
shipboard credits, but that's still a lot more $$$$ in my book.

Tobie, I hope you have been in touch with Peter about this. That is a
big difference and the $125 doesn't make up the difference.

Hey, you are all right. The rates have come down and I have posted them on
the yahoo cruise center group. I am also posting them here for your
convenience.

I would like to believe that MGC cruisers would assume that their rates
would be revised and updated as they become available and all benefits
applied to their accounts. That's the way it's supposed to be and that's the
way it is.

I think that everyone that knows me would expect nothing less from me.

Hey Warren, and the rest of you guys, you got it right, and no agent should
mind be questioned about rates when they are legitimately reduced by the
line.

Cat C Seaview 1741.60

Cat D Seaview 1619.60

Cat DA Seaview 1621.60

Cat DD Seaview 1359.60

Cat *E Seaview 1501.60

Cat K Interior 1276.60

*E is Gty with good upgrade possibility

Why not join the group...it's a good one!
