Places to meet up at Termini Station Rome
I'm meeting some friends this Saturday afternoon at Termini train
station (my flight gets in quite a bit earlier than theirs). Are there any good landmarks in the station for us to meetup? Thanks. |

Dunkin' Donuts For other options, check http://www.romecity.it/Stazionetermini.htm But, for an American, Dunkin' Donuts would be easy to remember |

You can take a direct bus to the Vatican City or you can walk to Ancient Rome where all the ruins are located. The Collisuem is also within talking distance from the main train station. |

Are there any good landmarks in the station for us to meetup? Why not meet in front of the ticket booth area? If you have any other questions about Italy, you would probably be better off posting them in the rec.travel.europe newsgroup. there is no good place to meet at Termini which has no place to sit and wait for people --- if you have a long wait you will be sitting on the floor -- although the ticket booth area is probably as central a spot as any to connect |

I would expect that if they are arriving early, they might not want to go to the train station until their party is arriving. Otherwise, they could just as well wait at FCO. It's Roma.. While the Termini might hold excitement for some people, I suspect this group might want to toss their stuff into the left luggage, and go someplace. |
