The only reason so many people died in New Orleans is because the
stupid Mayor and stupid Governor failed to order a mandatory
evacuation until it was too late. And even then, the only reason they
did order it is because President Bush called them and asked them what
the hell they were waiting for! And then, after the Mayor ordered the
evacuation, he failed to provide transportation for the many people
without a vehicle. They let all those school buses sit there and get
flooded, rather than using them to get people out of there.

Meanwhile, Nashville has done the evacuations and deaths have been
held to a minimum. Yet still there are deaths numbering in the double
digits, which is not insignificant for the people involved. If this
was a fire destroying homes and lives, it would be covered. Or, if it
was happening in New Orleans, and the mayor failed to order an
evacuation and Bush was still President, it would be covered so they
could blame Bush for everything.

One of the fundamental responsibilities of government is to warn
people of impending danger. That stupid mayor and stupid governor
waiting too long to issue the warning, and then they only did it
because Bush called and asked them what they were waiting for. Then,
on top of all that, the stupid mayor and stupid governor did not use
all those school buses to evacuate people without transportation.
Their ineptitude gave all of you confused and angry leftists an excuse
to blame Bush,even though the death toll would have been higher had
Bush *not* called the stupid mayor and stupid governor to prod them
into ordering the evacuation.
