Pride of Aloha
I've only seen negative things about the Pride of Aloha, which began
cruising the Hawaaiian Islands in July. Does anyone have anything good to say about this cruise/ship? Thanks. Carol |

Hi Carol,
We just came back from the nightmare cruise on the PRIDE OF ALOHA. We cruised 8/15-8/22 the islands were great but the ship was not ready when we boarded the restaurants were not staffed fully. The dining room wait was 1:30 mn any given evening not all the dining rooms were open for dinner or breakfast. You chose from the 11th deck buffet and waited there too in line forget room service they could not guaranty prompt service. The menus were all the boring se food, Well i failed to mention it was an American crew with the new company NCL AMERICA they really don't have their act together. I will only cruise NCL again under the foreign staffed ships. Paul |

Carol * I followed your cruise.... we, my Bride of 40 years celebrating that accomplishment sailed on the Aug 22 through 29 th cruise. 1st cruise, 1st time to Hawaii. Cruise was a disaster in that we had visions of good food and a balcony suite which was paid for an confirmend. It ended up being a port hole and NO refund for the difference in rooms. Food was better when I was in the Service 1960-1965. In other words, I would suggest that one does a lot of Surfing the Web to see what others have encountered before taking this Cruise. HAWAII, on the other hand was FANTASTIC... would love to go to Hawaii again but never again on NCL America.
