malarone for 2 months?

Hi guy,
I'm going to Malabo, in Equatorial Guinea for two months.
I know that Malarone shuold be assumpted for 28 days at maximum (as is
written..). But, anyone has taken it for a time greater than 1 month?
Please, tell me what you know a soon as possible...I have to go

Andrea,

you always have the choice not to swallow it at all, but instead
to take one pack with you as a cure. In that case take all other
possible precautions, use an impregnated mosquito net at night
and use insect repellant at any other time when mosquitos fly.

If you get fever and it is not entirely clear that it is not
malaria, take the cure dose of Malarone.

Of course the decision also depends on how high the risk is in
the area you're going to and whether you experience side effects
if you take it as a prophylactic.
