Default Londo Airport Taxi Service

You might like to know how to save some money if you arrive at London
Airport and want to get to the centre of town.
One tip: pre-book witha licensed mini-cab firm instead of hailing a
black cab at the airport-you can save at least 25%.You see, black cabs
run on a meter, therefore if you are unfortunate enough to get stuck
in traffic , your bill could be vertiginous!
A licensed mini-cab taxi firm such as Prime Cars(tel:44 0207 485
2000) will take bookings , and pick up 24 hours a day, every day. They
quote you a price, depending on where your hotel is, and how many
passengers you are, as well as the size of your luggage.
They also drop passengers on their way out of town. They operate from
North-West and Central London, but can quote for anywhere in town.

London City Airport?

Only ever referred to as City Airport (or Stolport!) in my experience.

And "London Airport" - I've only heard that phrase in old movies....

'It's mid-afternoon on Earth', too, in a not so old movie.
