Undoubtably. Tourists in much of Europe are limited to 3-6 month stays, with employment prohibited. We aren't going to be 'tourists' as it were. We are planning on staying in Europe much longer than a few months time, instead we plan on being around for several years. Check with the consulates of the countries you are considering staying in BEFORE you go. Check about the employment part? Definately. We plan on asking whenever we find ourselves checking into a hostel about work and thus the rules about such things as (from what we have found out) they would have the information without the wait of trying to find and get an interview/appointment with a consulate. Mari Astonishingly naive. You can't just turn up in a European country and decide you'd like to live there. Suggest you go away and do a lot more research before you even think about buying plane tickets. if you go ahead with this plan you'll almost certainly get deported eventually - then you'll find it hard to get into anywhwere in Europe (or elswhere, I suspect). |
