Default Help with using Priceline

In the last couple of years I've used Priceline.co.uk several times to book
hotels for trips to the US and more recently in the UK. I've had only good
experiences to date and saved loads of money while staying in much better
places than I could otherwise have afforded.

Friends and relatives were stunned to hear that we stayed between Christmas
& New Year in a 4* hotel in Kensington for £45 per night (around $86 US).
When I mentioned Priceline they were keen to know more but as it can be
quite a minefield knowing how to bid sensibly, I also want to point them in
the direction of a forum where they can get information about other peoples'
bids and help with bidding.

Sadly the site I've always used for my own research bans any discussion of
bids made via priceline.co.uk and the moderator became abusive when I
courteously attempted to open a discussion about the rationale for this.

So last night I google searched for bidding assistance on priceline and
found BetterBidding.com (www.betterbidding.com). It's an excellent, free
message board where people post their winning bids using Priceline and
Hotwire and reviews / pictures of the hotels they have stayed in. This
information is incredibly helpful when making your own bids. You can also
post a request for assistance with your specific travel requirements and the
moderators are very knowledgeable and friendly.

I don't have any affiliation with BetterBidding.com but I would like to see
even more posts there because that will help us all get better value for
money.

Kayess
