I wasn't saying a particular site simply that the fares or the fare
availability on a particular flight might well change during the night.
I suspect that the airline sight would be good for seat availability
changes but they are fully capable of releasing a block of cheap seats
to a particular wholesaler. If any one site were consistently best the
others would be out of business. FFM

Also, held but unticketed reservations expire at midnight (midnight being
wherever the airline deems the appropriate time zone).

look for the fare to go down in September for October travel. They are
having the Olympics (or so we all hope) this summer Athens fares will stay
high

I got a ticket from Dulles to Frankfurt for $526 direct for end of
this month.
This is on Lufthansa.. Contiential had a $397 flight. "Doemstic" EU
flights on easyjet or Ryanair are cheap, however I am not sure if they
have a flight to athens.

Always see about a train to another city ? That maybe about $100-$150
each depending on your class of travel.
