Default Car rentals " Or similiar" wording

At Hertz, ( or others) checking car prices and I see
" Ford Mustang Coupe" "or Similar"
'Chevy Malibu' , "or similiar"

Other than calling all the companies and asking, anyone know of a website
that's already done that, so I can see what my options REALLY are. Several
times (with Budget) I reserved a Mustang convertible only to end up with a
Sebring which I didn't want at all. I wasn't happy and after the last time
just stopped even trying to get one thru them.
This year with weather not so warm, I figured I'd reserve a new Malibu -
and want to see what the "similiar " cars would be if " not a Malibu". (
same thing for other models)

Thanks

It seems the auto rental companies don't trust the general internet user
with this information. With some companies my travel agent can tell me
make and model of the cars where I'd make a pick up. So, I guess this
information is reserved for select travel agents and AAA Travel offices.
