Default NH Foliage

an FYI: If you're heading to NH to check out the foliage, we were near
Mt Washington this week and most of the leaves have dropped on the
mountainside. The valleys still have their leaves ( protected from wind
and morning fog keeps them moist), but "just driving along" the view of
the hills is a lot of bare trees.
SOUTH of Rt 112 (the Kancamangus hwy) is the peak color.
It's still colorful. Rt 16 south of Conway - thru the lakes is nice.

I'm in central Maine and the foliage is just beginning to peak here...lovely
reds and oranges just coming out now.
