Default Looking for a hotel in Georgetown, Penang (Malaysia)

Can anyone recommend a good, modern hotel in Georgetown, Penang? We
plan to spend approximately MYR 150 to MYR 200 per night and room.

The Cititel Penang looks fine according to the website, but it seems
to be located in the middle of the bar and nightlife district of
Georgetown, so it might get loud all night long. How about the City
Bayview or the Sheraton; has anybody stayed there recently?

Sheraton provides good value for money in terms of room and services.

The hotel is tucked in a quiet area although it is a bit far from the city
centre. You can even walk to the gurney hawker stalls from the hotel.
(about 30 minutes walk)

furtehr in Batu Ferringhi like the Rasa sayang or Golden Sands
