Default Need a newsgroup server!

Evening all.

To ensure my timely return, I need a little help.

Having changed ISP's (for the 30th time), I found out this one doesn't
support newsgroups. Is there a free, or really cheap, good one around
that I can use for the purpose of providing information to RTE, whilst
nudging Mixi and inducing heart failure in Go Fig?

I recall reading once about one based in Berlin, but can't find out
much about it via the archives.

You should be able to use news.free.fr withe ID "freefr" and pass
"freefr". You won't have access to binaries though...

I stand corrected. news.free.fr is indeed free (even for non-free
customers) but is reading-only with "freefr" and "freefr". To post
messages you need a Free isp account.

It depends on what you get in return. You've already pointed out that
binaries are missing.

You don't need binaries for rte newsgroup.

If you only want one newsgroup, you can use Google.
