How much would I expect to pay for this return flight,
economy class, in late June 2004? (returning about 3 weeks
later).

Looking at prices, it looks much more expensive than
flying at this time of year. But some of that could just
be because I am looking 6 months in advance.

You might be better off looking at SYD-LHR return and the looking at
super-el-cheapo fares on DJ or QF from BNE to SYD and return - there
is far more competition out of SYD than there is out of BNE.

Try Malaysian - they fly from BNE with just one stop at Kuala Lumpur - often
have specials!!
