Honestly cant see why your list includes the Gold Coast, unless you are 17
or have a couple of kids yourself.

Plenty of better places than the Gold Coast to see South East Queensland.

Queensland pretty damn good. What climate do you want? What sort of
accomodation are you after? Budget or luxury holiday?

many help available if you provide the right questions.

Well, being 21 you may like the Sunshine coast (other side of Brisbane).
Theres plenty to do, heeeaaappps of places to go walking and if your lucky
you can get to Fraser Island and walk around that for a few days. Glass
House mountains have lots of walking tracks, if you get up to Rainbow beach
you can walk back to Noosa if you like beach walking. Its about 30kms of
beach though.

The Gold Coast is very commercialised these days and very oriented towards
the asian tourist. Surfers Paradise is getting old now but there are some
very nice beachs still of course, they dont get any older in the big scheme
of things.

Brisbane itself lends to around 80Kms of cycle and walk ways and it great
walkign around Southbank at anytime of the day or night. Id recommend both
actually.

rainbow beach is a beautiful stretch of beach which is also a
lesser-known access way to Fraser Island... best beach on the east coast
imho.

If you are purely after amazing beaches, though, I'd recommend you check
out the west coast of Oz... in particular Broome and Exmouth.
