Default Travel to Sonoma County - California

Hello,
I will be visiting Sonoma County in California
and would be staying at a cottage in a town called
Cazadero. I am looking for some information on
interesting things to do in and around the area. We will
be there for 3 days.

If anyone has visited the area and has some recommendations on
restaurants, place to visit and things to do,
I'd appreciate if you could email them to .
I am also looking for a nice spa/message in the area.

PS: We have a 2-year old with us

best regards,
PhotoBuddy

You can visit Fort Ross up the coast not too far- an old fort where the
Russians settled- the southern most place the Russian fur traders came to.

Luther Burbank gardens in Santa Rosa.

Interesting rocky beaches.

Lots of beautiful wineries- tours and tasting.

Charles Shultz museum in Santa Rosa

Armstrong Redwoods and Austin Creek State Parks

Have a good time-

Susan

Other than Susan Wachob's suggestions you might hang around the open air
coffee gallery in the village square where many locals linger and get some
ideas from them. There are also some art gallaries in the square around the
park and the Sonoma Mission just half a block off the park. For the local hot
springs spa, go to the Sonoma Mission in near Agua Caliente on highway 11
going toward Santa Rosa. It's just outside the city limits, which is almost
walking distance in a city of 6,000. Bon voyage. KM

P.S. It is not proper Netiquette to request e-mail replies as it implies that
it's beneath your dignity to return to the newsgroup and mingle with the rest
of the riff-raff there and simply many people just won't respond via e-mail
especially to a hotmail account. KM

Ooops, Sorry, the open air place in Sonoma Square is called the "Coffee
Garden", not the "Coffee Gallery" - I confused the place in Haleiwa with the
one in Sonoma. ;-) KM
