If I am sitting in the casino and 5 people around me are smoking, I
have no choice but to inhale it if I want to remain there. If there
are 5 people drinking around me, nobody is forcing me to ingest the
alcohol.

How would you feel if you were forced to sit in the farting section of
the showroom?

Yeah they'd just have to leave stuff on the stove, fire up the grill,
etc. After almost 10 years investigating fires, I can tell you that
alcohol leads to many fires even w/o the aid of cigs.

I have not fallen overboard or started fights onboard, but then I
drink in moderation.

Yet..(g)

But smokers also fail to realise that cigarette smoke tastes and
smells abhorrent to non-smokers (who generally out number smokers by 7
to 3).
Perhaps if I shat in your mouth you could understand the effect.

You were the one who brought up the alcohol being different
from smoking. Don't blame me for your detour.

Not again, another posting about smoking, when will it ever stop.

A whole boat and nowhere to smoke that some anal retentive can't find a
place to have their hissy fits.

I can imagine our pleased the next guest in the author's cabin would be to
have it stinking of cheap perfume. A room would have to be that perfume
would be an improvement.

Smoking can cause a fire that could destroy many cabins and kill lots
of people on a very expensive ship.

So how is that different from people who smoke in a hotel or a big office
building?

You can escape the hotel or office building a wee bit more easily than a
ship in the middle of a large body of water.

blames me.
