Offensive reader review on Cruise Critic

I personally get livid when I hear anyone use that expression.
Several years ago, on a cruise ship, I actually hit a southern
Baptist Minister when he said it to me at the table.

Oh so let me see if I understand you correctly. It is a problem when someone
uses that expression, but OK for you to resort to violence? now that is
hypocrisy of the highest order.

Simple.......do not go to Cruise Critic. I find it offensive that you would

fault Cruise Critic it is a good and helpful site. It was the ignorance
of the poster that I took issue with.

I didn't go to Cruise Critic because you didn't post a URL, so I just
didn't bother. But I understood (once I knew what the issue was) what
you were objecting to. But if you are not faulting Cruise Critic, and
don't want them to remove or edit the review, then what do you want?

And why are you complaining here about them? What good will that do?
What is your object?

If you are really complaining about the person who posted the review
then it seems to me that you should address it with him or her. And
that person can then apologize and correct, or tell you to buzz off as
they see fit. All this hysteria doesn't accomplish anything.

If most people missed the point, maybe there is no point???

At least she paid retail for the cruise--what a fool.

That is common colloquial usage. Not offensive. The same way urban
folk bandy the "N" word about and use the phrase "my N*****" as a term
of endearment.
