Resort in South East Asia
Shnagri La Tanjung Aru is a much better option
"TestMan" schreef in bericht ... For Sabah, I will recommend Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort. A beautiful beach and 30 minutes from the city...... "tom" wrote in message ... I would love to visit a resort in South East Asia. Need to be 5-star deluxe and very relaxing. Has enough facilities, restaurants and pastimes to do within the resort that I will not need to worry about finding things to do. Prefer something luxurious. I would like to go to Philippines, Sabah, Indonesia or Pacific. Not Thailand Any recommendations please ? Tom |

That's why it's an Asean member. Re resorts, what about something like the Datai or the Andaman in Langkawi, Malaysia? George W. Russell Hanoi |

Peter Loud want to liberate the Phillipines from A.S.E.A.N.? Michael (George W. Russell) wrote in message . com... Of course it is S.E. Asia. That's why it's an Asean member. A.S.E.A.N. is essentially Indonesia + , that's how Suharto REALLY annexed other countries, not through military forces, but through diplomatic forces. And that's the reason on why Timor Leste was ordered on not to join A.S.E.A.N. (a.k.a. Indonesia +) desite its location make it appropiate as part of South East Asia. Who knows? Maybe Peter Loud use the same reasoning on the Phillipines? George W. Russell Hanoi As for the originial poster's question. Well... You might want to be a litte bit more specific on your travel route, like which part of the country that you want to visit? After all, for example you mentioned Indonesia as one of the country you want to visit. Indonesia got around 13.000 islands, which one did you want to visit? |

The Datai is great, in a jungle villa or in the main building above it. Photos on my web site - and also of Pangkor Laut Resort, which we've visited 3 times and which I heartily recommend. - Max -- MisterMax Slideshows of Angkor Wat, Bali, Crete, France, Malaysia, Maui, Morocco, Mt Holly, Sicily, St Tropez, Singapore, Thailand, Tour de France: http://buten.net/max/ (Yes,RemoveDoubles is part of my email address. We were there for 4 days in February and I had hired a car to get about a bit. It stayed in the car park. We were so relaxed that we never even thought of going out. I don't play but there is also a golf course, and the surf boards, cats. etc. are in good nick. My wife says the spa is to die for. -- Philip Allum |
