Default Calling Sweden

First of all let me start off this message by wishing all the readers of
this newsgroup a prosperous new year.

With my message I would like to aim to those of you living in Sweden. In
view if a possible, trip I want to make next year to Sweden, whereby I will
be arriving at Skavsta Airport - Stockholm, does anybody have any travel
information on how to travel:

From Skavsta Airport to Stockholm City and/or
From Skavsta Airport to Gothebrourg?

All information on both rail and coach travel is welcome.

Perhaps you can recommend me a good website where I can find all the
information.

Many thanks in advance.

Charles.

From Skavsta the best are the airport coaches "Flygbussarna",
see http://www.peopletravel.se/en/koncernen/ for more information.

From Skavsta Airport to Gothebrourg?

To Gothenburg or Göteborg, as the Swedish spelling is, you will
need to either take a train or long distance coaches.

For train see http://www.sj.se/

I assume you are using Ryanair. A shuttle bus operates from the
airport to Stockhom Central Station after each flight. It is a
longish ride, 60 km, over an hour.

Services for pasengers at Skavsta are rudimentary.

There is a train station in the town Nykoping and I expect a cab
would be the handi way to reach it.

Perhaps you can recommend me a good website where I can find all the
information.

The whole airport was reconstructed and enlarged last year.
In my opinion there's a reasonable comfort now.
