Day trip to Tangier and Tetouan in Morocco - how do I do it?

Hi,
I'll be in southern Spain in a few weeks and I wanted to check out
Morocco. I only have one day and I want to see as much as possible -
including at least some of the semi-authentic stuff. I know about the
tours to Tangier but I heard there are day trip tours that do both
Tangier and Tetouan. This sounds interesting - does anyone know what
tour company offers this combination tour? Or does anyone have any
other ideas as to how to make the most out of a day in Morocco? Any
tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

To be more specific, take the ferry to Ceuta (45 minutes), take a regular
taxi to the border and cross over into Morocco. Take a taxi into Tetouan and
roam around on your own. Then find the taxi stand (probably a different
place, and take a taxi (5-6 persons) to Tangiers. Wander around and take the
ferry back to Spain from Tangier. If you really on public transport back in
Spain, remember that the LAST bus to Malaga, etc leaves about 10:00 pm.

I meant to say rely on public transport..
Also Spain is 2 hrs ( soon changes to 1 hr) ahead of Morocco.

Just came back from Spain and did something similar. I used a travel agent
called Viajes Maxy Travel in Fuengirola, telephone 952667006, email
. However there are numerous travel agencies that
offer the same thing.

It included only Tangiers and really, that is all you can comfortably see in
one day, anything else and you will be flying past or spending time in
transit. The tour included pickup in Marbella by tour bus around 6:30 a.m.
with guide giving details (also picked up passengers, 22 in all, in other
nearby cities), ferry crossing from Algeciras to Tanger, tour bus with a
very knowledgeable, informed and well spoken local guide covering the
various regions of the city, a camel "ride" (really a picture-op), a walk
with explanations and background through the old city, the new city, the
marketplace, lunch at a local restaurant, visit to a mechant house, and back
to the ferry for return to the pickup spot arriving around 8:30 p.m.

The tour was very good. The travel company was just a booking agent for the
actual tour company called Rusadir Travel. Along the tour I saw several
other tour companies doing the same thing so you have quite a selection.
The cost was about 44 euros for the day trip.
