get a guide book with lists of the tapas bars, walk down the Rambla to Barcelonetta, watch your wallet! DO NOT eat in any restaurant on Las Ramblas. In a city full of amazing food, I don't understand why so many visitors flock to the same overpriced mediocre restaurants. Just walk down any side street that's not within two blocks of any major tourist site, and look for a restaurant or tapas bar full of locals.
