Default Non-reservable trains in Europe?

An overnight journey need only count for one day, provided it begins

after 19:00. Unfortunately, that day is the next day.

Right--so as long as the "last day" of your pass is the ARRIVAL day of the
overnight train, and you are not using the pass the previous day BEFORE

you
get on the overnight train (after 7pm), then your last day would include

the
overnight train and any subsequent travel you plan to do the day after you
get in on the overnight. Any travel PRIOR to getting on the overnight
train (after 7pm) on the previous day, would count as a separate day--you
cannot CONNECT to the overnight train on the pass, unless you enter that

in
as a separate day.

With a Eurodomino-pass (not Eurail) it's different, as it's possible (afaik)
to use the next day also for connecting trains after 19:00, isn't it?

Same arrangement. So long as you board an overnight train after 19:00 and
remain on it until after midnight you date the pass with the date of
arrival. On arrival the following morning you could carry on travelling
on as many trains you wish until midnight.
