Default SAVE THE NORWAY!!!

Can the company that purchased the QE2, please save the Norway!!! They
can set them bow to bow as grand Hotels. They also have the money to
rescue the Norway, and bring her back in grand style!!! Please e-mail
the company that purchased the QE2 for 100 million dollars, and tell
them to save the Norway!!!

They will have to collect a lot of scrap razor blades to save the Norway.
While I don't have any recent information on her she was towed to the
scrapping yard a looooong time ago. I share your sentiment however as I
have sailed on her many times in the past. She definitely was not a
cookie-cutter design that all the cruise lines ships are now.

YES BUT THEY HAVE TO "WANT TO" AND LIKE THE ENTERPRISE HAVE A VIABLE
BUSINESS PLAN GOING FORWARD !!!!

Selling razor blades is not a viable reason to drag the carcus of a once
grand lady of the beach.

Seems pretty sure that she's a goner:

*BLUE LADY's Black Gold*
May 16, 2007: The Indian Supreme Court has granted Priya Blue, the
Alang-based shipbreaking company that purchased the BLUE LADY (ex
FRANCE, NORWAY) permission to remove the remaining oil from the ship's
tanks. No firm word on demolition has been granted, however. That
decision may arrive within the next ten days.

Still awaiting news.... -- Rik

If they can't sell it to anyone then turning her into razor blades is a
viable reason.

The report I heard on the purchase of the QE2 said that Dubai World
had also sought to buy two other ocean liners, one of which was
scheduled to be scrapped by the end of the year. The offers were
refused. France and United States?
