Default What is it the butler did (does)?

Hi

We've received a cabin upgrade to a category that includes butler
service. I'm not sure what a butler does? We're not sure we need
butleing. I am however looking forward to exclaim "the butler did it!"

Also how much do you tip the butler vice the room attendant?

TIA

What ship and cruise line, I think that would make a difference as to
what the butler does. How much to tip should be in your cruise docs. and
also available on the cruise line website.
