Shore activities - Nassau
Can anyone recommend shore options for when we port in Friday morning. I
understand there will be excursion packages offered by Carnival but also assumed there is a mark-up over finding it yourself. There will be four of us in total. Interests would be things you don't get to do on your 'normal' vacations with the kids (we're all leaving ours behind). Maybe a snorkeling excursion or Atlantis Casino trip on our own? is this something we coould book on our own before or just grab the 'yellow-pages' when we get there? Thanks |

Atlantis is easy on your own, just grab a cab. We did the Water
Taxi, in November, but you end up with quite a hike after your dock, while the cab will drop you right at the door. Lots of "van" type cabs that you will all fit in. atlantis casino great place to look at lots of fish, other than that just
another very fancy casino with expensive stores and a 42 dollar dinner buffet. dont use pay telephones in there to call usa its 99 cents a minute and way up depending on who you use, glass bottom boat shore tour is good, bus city tour is poor jammed in small bus like sardines |

We're also looking into booking our own shore trip outside of what Carnival
offers. Our logic is that we might be able to get out with a smaller group for pretty much the same activity. Any suggestions? Also, is there an admission fee to go to the Atlantis Casino or just if we want to visit "the Dig". Thanks "Pat Palombaro" wrote in message ...
