Any one have any recommendations for cheap flights from new york to
anywhere in Canada , heck even newfoundland ? NYC to Syracuse, NY and then drive north? Can you drive from Syracuse to Toronto? Or would that dump you into the river? If you go *north* from Syracuse, I-81 passes east of Lake Ontario, reaching the Thousand Islands Bridge over the St. Lawrence. This is sensible for points in eastern Ontario, but for Toronto a shorter route is west on I-90 to Buffalo, then using one of the Niagara River bridges. (There is also the ferry from Rochester.)
